Cher Cares Foundation

The Cher Cares Foundation supports causes close to Cher's heart, including animal welfare and humanitarian relief efforts. Through its funding of Free The Wild, founded by Cher and partners Mark and Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, the Foundation helps rescue wild animals from captivity and relocate them to sanctuaries and improved living environments. The Foundation has also supported vulnerable communities through emergency relief initiatives, including the Pandemic Resource and Response Fund, which provided critical supplies and assistance to underserved populations during COVID-19. The Foundation is fiscally sponsored by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a leading philanthropic organization within the entertainment community.
