The New York Pops

Founded in 1983, The New York Pops is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States. Led by renowned Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, this 78-musician orchestra is the only one in New York City that specializes in Popular Music. Our mission is to create greater awareness and appreciation of the American songbook through our electrifying annual concert series and increasing arts access for public school students through our PopsEd initiatives.
