Attend the Opening Night of the 56th New Directors/New Films Festival, one of the most prestigious showcases for emerging cinematic talent in the world, with two (2) tickets to this landmark event at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 7, 2027, along with special VIP access to the official after-party. Venue and timing to be confirmed.

Co-presented by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art, New Directors/New Films has been a defining launchpad for groundbreaking filmmakers since 1972. The festival is celebrated for introducing international and independent voices that go on to shape the broader cultural conversation in cinema. Opening Night represents the festival at its most electric—a gathering of filmmakers, critics, and devoted cinephiles united by a shared passion for the art of film.

This is a rare opportunity to be present at the very first screening of the festival’s 56th edition, held at Lincoln Center’s iconic home at 165 West 65th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a cultural landmark that has long served as the beating heart of New York’s performing arts scene.

For the discerning film lover, a seat at Opening Night of New Directors/New Films is more than a screening—it’s a front-row position at the future of cinema.
