Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1 | Welcome to Athens!

• Arrive at Athens International Airport, meet your assistant, and transfer to your hotel for check-in.
• The remaining of your day is at leisure to explore on your own for a first taste of Athens.
  • Discover Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, located under the Acropolis. It is the only district where visitors can see the Greek capital as it was over several centuries.
• Overnight at your hotel in Athens. 

Day 2 | Athens Sightseeing Tour

• After your breakfast, depart at the indicated time for your Athens Sightseeing tour.  
• This morning's guided tour lets you observe the striking contrasts that make Athens a fascinating city. The expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis, visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally, "the harmony between material and spirit," the monument that "puts the order in mind," the Parthenon. Continue to visit where the statues finally found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The Acropolis  Museum.
