Bid now on "Soup in Blue," a one-of-a-kind original mixed media work by contemporary pop artist Brent Wickes, created in 2023 and signed by the artist. Custom double-framed in a 2" gloss black ornate outer frame with a 1" blue metallic inner frame and protected behind museum glass, this bold, layered, and visually arresting piece arrives dust-covered, backed, and wired ready to hang.
Wickes is a contemporary mixed-media and pop artist whose bold compositions blend vibrant color, photography, surrealism, and abstract imagery, drawing from nature, popular culture, history, and the human experience. His distinctive use of color, texture, and contrast transforms the familiar into the extraordinary, with each piece challenging perception and inviting interpretation.
As a true one-of-a-kind original rather than a print run or limited edition, pieces like this signed and framed to exhibition standard rarely surface at auction.
