Bid now on "April Evening," a signed and numbered limited edition giclee on canvas by celebrated American realist Edward Gordon, numbered 12/295 from an edition of just 295. Signed in the bottom right corner and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, this luminous work is a meaningful opportunity to acquire a piece from one of American realism's most quietly celebrated voices.

Gordon (1940-2023) left a career as a Certified Public Accountant to pursue painting full-time in 1980, earning cover features in "The Artist's Magazine" and "Yankee Magazine," a first-prize win in the landscape division of "The Artist's Magazine" 1993 competition, and inclusion in the 2007 International Contemporary Art Exhibit at the Vittoriano in Rome. His paintings and prints are held in private and public collections across North America and Europe.

"April Evening" presents a quietly luminous scene drawn directly from Gordon's Vermont home, with silhouetted trees inspired by Alex Katz, a serene moonrise, and the warm glow of a circa 1910 Handel-designed desk lamp lending an intimate period authenticity that extends well beyond the canvas. With more than 22 of Gordon's 45 published giclee editions now sold out, this is a rare opportunity not to be missed.
