                Beginning with your three-night stay in a four-star hotel in Rome’s city center, you will have the opportunity to explore the culture and history surrounding you while basking in luxury. Home to one of the world’s most renowned landmarks, the Colosseum, experience the sheer magnitude of the ancient amphitheater with a private tour of the Colosseum and Arena Floor, exploring the epicenter of entertainment and competition in the time of Titus.

                Within the Roman borders, step into the city-state of Vatican City and witness the strength of the Christian Empire within its homestead. A private guide will be by your side to highlight and expand on the Vatican's vast collection and museums, you will have the opportunity to view first-hand the Raphael Rooms, Laocoon Statue, and Michelangelo's masterpiece: the Sistine Chapel.

                With your time in Rome coming to a close, we welcome you to Cortona- a medieval hilltop town said to be the birthplace of the founder of Troy, Dardano. From here, you will delve into the legacy of the beloved St.Francis. Francis of Assisi was a Catholic friar known for his kindness towards the poor and his love of nature and animals; Later, founding the Franciscans, St.Francis is one of the most revered figures within Christianity. Beginning with a half-day walking tour of Assisi, the home of St.Francis, you will walk the steps he once walked as you witness the marks he made on the world. The tour will feature Piazza della Repubblica, the stunning Eremo le Celle, the first hermitage founded by the Saint, the Basilica, and Tomb of St. Francis – one of the most renowned artistic and religious highlights of Europe.

                This trip will be one to remember. From the captivating history to cultural immersion, you will leave Italy with a strengthened connection between past and present.
