• Additional terms: This vintage Dior Maris Pearl Tote in white was created in the mid-2000s by John Galliano. This beautifully crafted item became lackluster over the years and was in need of a transformation. Using recycled vintage marcasite jewelry as inspiration, the large marcasite brooch on the front, a heart-shaped marcasite necklace, and an amethyst and marcasite pendant on the back are the cornerstones of the design. The item also includes new silver Dior star hairpins with the iconic "CD" embossing. Gemstones, iridescent stars and beads, pearls, and rhinestones in rich purple tones and sparkling silver highlights create a uniquely artistic handbag. Due to the materials used, this item is slightly heavier at about 5 lbs. Exterior: -Handles are in great condition, but have minor peeling on one that is barely noticeable. -Does not include the original shoulder strap -During the restoration process, the blackish-green rubbing from the original metal baubles on the bottom of the handles could not be fully removed.
