The club underwent a major renovation in 2020 that elevated every aspect of the experience. Greens were rebuilt, bunkers reshaped, tees leveled, and drainage modernized. Fairways now feature Zeon Zoysia, providing tight, consistent lies, while TifEagle Bermuda greens deliver smooth, reliable speed throughout the year. The result is a course defined by precision, conditioning, and championship-grade playability.

                At over 7,400 yards from the back tees, Whispering Pines offers a demanding but fair examination of every club in the bag. Strategic angles, bold bunkering, and a compelling routing create memorable risk-reward moments, particularly along the lakeside finishing holes that rank among the most photographed in Texas golf.
