Released in 1983, "Pyromania" turned Def Leppard into arena headliners, propelled by singles like "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages" and a sound that helped define the era's hard rock crossover into the mainstream. Joe Elliott has fronted the band since its founding, and Phil Collen joined in 1982, in time to help shape the record's signature guitar work.
