                Charles Rao opened the first Rao's Restaurant in 1896. It has been passed down the family tree from Charles to Louis to Vincent and Anna to Ron and Frank. It has never changed locations, but it has always remained fresh, traditional, and delicious. The likes of Nicole Kidman, Madonna, Ron Howard, and Mariah Carey, to name a few, have all taken in the elegance and intimate setting at Rao's.

                • Reservation is for 7 pm EST. 
                • Experience cannot be resold or re-auctioned.
                • Cannot be transferred.
                • Travel and accommodations are not included.
                • We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz. Decorum and adherence to all rules and guidelines are a must.
                • All Charitybuzz patrons are required to comply with current government, venue, and event requirements associated with the redemption of this lot. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the experience and final purchase price.
                • Should redemption of all or a portion of this lot be prevented or postponed beyond the dates of redemption explicitly stated on this lot page due to force majeure (i.e. weather, act of God, state of war, terrorism, strike, pandemic, etc.) or any other condition beyond reasonable control, the winner may be eligible for a refund of the total purchase price.

                National Dance Institute
                National Dance Institute (NDI) was founded in 1976 by New York City Ballet principal dancer Jacques d’Amboise, and leads the field of arts education with a program that has been studied and replicated worldwide. At the root of NDI’s methodology is the belief that the arts have a unique power to engage children of diverse backgrounds, abilities, and socio-economic positions, and motivate them toward excellence in all aspects of their lives. NDI’s goal is to support the social and emotional development of children through active, participatory arts experiences. We celebrate the creative, confident, and compassionate young adults who emerge from our program with a strong sense of self and an enduring belief in their ability to succeed. Since our founding, NDI has impacted the lives of more than two million children.

                100% of Net Proceeds (as defined in our Terms and FAQs) of the Hammer Price will go to Pledgeling Foundation, a nationally registered 501(c)(3) public charity, who will then grant the funds, less fees, to National Dance Institute
