Chris Hazzard and Michael Fontana are a comedy writing team originally from the East Coast and now based in Los Angeles. They penned the fifth installment in Disney+’s ZOMBIES franchise, ZOMBIES 5: Secrets of the Sea, which is scheduled for release in summer 2027. Most recently, Amazon won the bidding war for their feature pitch based on the beloved ’80s toy Teddy Ruxpin. They will executive produce the film alongside Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions and Story Kitchen.
Chris and Mike are also developing projects for DC Studios, Skydance Sports, Paramount, Disney+, and XYZ Films. On the television side, they have developed original comedies for Hulu, CBS, FX Networks, Sony, Disney+, and Universal Television. Additionally, they wrote for Season 2 of the Pop TV series Swedish Dicks, starring Peter Stormare and Keanu Reeves.
