Bid now on “Fragments,” an original mixed media work on vintage wallpaper by celebrated artist Craig Alan. Hand-signed by the artist, this one-of-a-kind piece brings the ingenuity of his celebrated Populus series to a reclaimed surface rich with its own texture and history.

This item includes shipping and handling and insurance to any of the 48 contiguous US States!

Alan is an American artist best known for his Populus series, in which hundreds of tiny individual figures are arranged to form a larger, recognizable image or icon. His practice of working on reclaimed and vintage surfaces including maps, book pages, and wallpaper layers his crowds of figures over the texture and history already embedded in the material, adding depth and visual intrigue that sets these works apart from his canvas-based pieces.

As a true one-of-a-kind original rather than a print or reproduction, this is a rare opportunity to own a singular work bearing Craig Alan’s hand and signature.
