Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" US Olympic hockey team, has signed and inscribed a canvas and flag commemorating one of the most celebrated moments in American sports history. The piece comes new, ready for display.
Eruzione scored the winning goal against the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, a result that has stood for over four decades as a defining upset in sports history and the inspiration for the phrase "Do you believe in miracles?"
Mike Eruzione signed the canvas (measuring approx. 8x10), and he also added the inscriptions. Also included is a Mike Eruzione-signed American flag. Mr. Eruzione donated his signatures to Bridge the Gaps, and this lot is accompanied by our letter of authenticity.
